Name the best non-human movie monster.
For our purposes, “human” shall include any creature that used to be primarily human.
(Bonus points to anyone who knows what monster whose eligibility I sought to preserve by using the phrase “primarily human.”)

Godzilla is the greatest non-human monster, ever. There shall be no dispute.
As to whose eligibility you might be trying to preserve by the phrase “primarily” human …
I have no idea. Yet.

The alien from “Alien”. Which begs the question, if the aliens infected Godzilla what would the resulting alien look like???
Hmmm… primarily human… perhaps the 1980’s “The Fly” ???

You know, I’m a huge fan of Godzilla’s work, and we really can’t blame him for that dreadful American film vrsion from a few years back.
That said, I’m still going to have to go with good ol’ Vermithrax Pejorative, just on general coolness.
Of course, Big G could kick Vermi’s rear any day — King Cesar could do that — but I never saw the dragon’s zipper.

Verminthrax is quite cool. The Rancor for “The Empire Strikes Back” is cooler … although Verminthrax would prevail against the Rancor, I think, being able to fly and breathe fire and all.
But Godzilla rules. Period. Zipper or not.

Verminthrax sounds like some sort of ultra-powerful rat poison.
It’s Vermithrax, dude.
