Name your top 5 all-time favorite movies.
I said “favorite,” mind you. I know I don’t think my favorite five are necessarily the five BEST movies of all time… but they appeal to me.
Have at it.
(P.S. Like or dislike the new format?)

Narrowing it down to five is tough… I mean REALLY tough.
Silent Running
Fried Green Tomatoes
The Patriot
Schindler’s List
The Shawshank Redemption
(honorable mentions)
Amistad
Regarding Henry
The Seven Samurai
The Muppet Movie
Glory
The Color Purple
I like the new format.

Lord of the Rings trilogy
Animal House
You Only Live Twice
Godzilla: Final Wars
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
All of those are movies I watch over and over and just plain enjoy. There are a lot of movies I could have listed: Alien, Aliens, True Grit, Casino Royale, the first three Star Wars flicks, Raiders of the Lost Ark. My list likely would be different if asked a month ago, and probably will be different I’m asked a month from now.

Welcome back, Clark — and don’t feel bad about having trouble with this category. I’m just now getting around to posting a list.
In no particular order:
“Peter Pan” (Jeremy Sumpter version)
“Dead Again”
“The 13th Warrior”
“Amadeus”
“Ferris Buehler’s Day Off”
Honorable mentions go to “Ladyhawke,” “Master and Commander,” “Holy Grail,” “Princess Bride,” “Howl’s Moving Castle,” “Grand Hotel,” “Braveheart” and “The Dresser.” OH! And “Strange Brew.” And Branaugh’s “Henry V.” I think that’ll do it for now.

Indiana Jones Series, The Pirates of the Caribbean Series
The Star Wars Series
Caddyshack
Blazing Saddles
The Shawshank Redemption
I picked these as my favorites movies however, I have seen a lot of movies that I really have enjoyed over the years so my list would be really long.

Clark! Man, I thought you dumped your computer into a vat of gooey, bubbling acid …
