OK so coming up with a list five favorite movies was tough — I’m still working on mine.
Let’s see if listing the FIVE WORST MOVIES is any easier.

Care Bears? Eeeewww. I’m not even going to get into kids’ movies, because that would pretty much eat up my entire list.
5. “Super Fuzz”
4. “Who’s That Girl?”
3. “Joe vs. The Volcano”
2. “The Avengers” (featuring Sean Connery AS a Care Bear)
1. Travesty of Earthsea (“A Wizard of Earthsea” was a made-for-TV movie, I admit, but so absolutely rank I can’t leave it off my list.)
Episodes 1-3 of “Star Wars” were mighty awful, but at least they looked pretty.

In no particular odor … I mean, order:
The Piano (Did we really need to see Harvey Keitel’s schlong? I think not.)
Joe Versus the Volcano (I expect so much more from Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan)
The Incredible Hulk (Other than one or two nifty action sequences, this thing rotted)
The Blair Witch Project (They should have just not made this piece of crap)
Batman Forever (If that’s the one with George Clooney; I get it mixed up with Batman & Robin because they both suck whale willies)

Incubus (bad enough without the totally Esperanto dialogue)
The Ring
Lucky Number Slevin
Magnolia
The Others

The Blair Witch Project (I was so pumped to see this movie only to find out it sucked)
Joe versus the Volcano
Water World
George Clooney as Batman (whichever that one was)
Lady in the Water (M. Night is my favorite movie-maker, so my expectations were high just to discover this movie blew chunks)

Ok I will have to aggre with others here.
The Blair Witch Project was one the worse moives I had even seen
Th Ring was over rated
But to top my list would have to be Mars Attack,
Sorry Guys buy Joe verus Volcano, The Incredible Hulk, Magnolia and George Clooney’s Batman have to be better then Mars Attack and the Blair Witch Project. I may have to watch them 3 to see.

Clark: I never saw “Lady in the Water,” but I thought even the previews for that movie were terrible.
Larry: I’m probably in a minority opinion here, but I thought “Mars Attacks!” was hilarious. I love the goofy aliens, and the Slim Whitman resolution. It’s like a lot of Tim Burton’s movies, though; it either works for you or it doesn’t.
But I think we can all agree that “The Blair Witch Project” had a huge hype-to-quality differential. For months it was “Blair Witch” this and “Blair Witch” that … and then you go to see the thing and it’s just plain suckage!

You people are a lot of brian dead idiots. Joe versus the Volcano is the single greatest motion picture ever created. You will perish in flame! Why don’t you all go watch Titanic again…you are all so clearly responsible for the success of bad movies! Go now!

Oh, go jump in a volcano. That movie rots.
But welcome to this blog, whoever you are.

I have never seen and never will see “Titanic.” I guess that makes me an intelligent and discerning viewer. I hated “Joe vs. the Volcano.” It’s been a long time since I’ve seen any of it, but I do remember there wasn’t enough of anything – drama, comedy, or ANYTHING to move the plot along. Watching it, I got much the same feeling as when we were trapped in a traffic jam for over 2 hours. Boredom, claustrophobia, and the overwhelming urge to go yell at someone to get the damn thing moving already!
