Hmmm … the first thing that popped into my head was anything by Molly Hatchet, since many of their album covers could almost be Conan paperback covers.
And the first Molly Hatchet song that came to mind was “Bounty Hunter,” mostly because of this lyric:
“… seems to me this is one hell of a way for a man like me to earn my pay.”
And then there’s the score from the John Milieus “Conan” movie … whatever else you think of the movie, the score is pretty darned good.

Maybe Bad Company’s “Bad Company,” though that would probably be more appropriate to Glenn Cook’s Black Company characters.
Aerosmith’s “Kings and Queens” is probably more for Aragorn or somebody … hmm.
Oh. Okay. Just about anything by Black Sabbath. That’ll do.
